Still Got the Blues

Gary Moore

1952 – 2011  

This is my latest oil painting tribute to the late, great Gary Moore. He was from Northern Ireland and was one of the greatest blues guitarists of our time. Known best for songs like, “Parisienne Walkways” and my favorite, “Still Got the Blues”.

Les Paul, a world renowned guitarist and inventor known for his innovative electric guitar design, once said, “It’s not what you do with the guitar, it’s what you do to the audience.”

Interestingly, Gary’s favorite guitar was the 1959 Gibson Les Paul.
