The End

After the bottle’s long journey of floating on an endless sea, the incoming waves finally pushed it onto some foreign shore, only to violently smash it into some cold, thoughtless rocks. The bottle broke apart, and the words of the heartfelt note bled into the salty, evening surf, leaving the message unreadable and forever lost. 

And so it was. 

And so it is. 

The letter was never destined to be an opening or a connection with whoever found it, but some sort of insufficient closure for the one who sent it. And yet, for the sender - the not knowing provided a door, a small chance for hope and belief...
